Come What May

Welcome, May!
In January I launched a line of birth month flower bookmarks and decorative mini hoops. Many of them are still available in my shop (they make for thoughtful birthday or birth gifts!). May’s flower is the Lily of the Valley, symbolising humility, sweetness, and happiness.

May is shaping up to be a busy month for me. I’ve got two market dates to prepare for along with lots of busy waitressing shifts and, you know, life!
Local upstate New Yorkers can catch me this month at these artisan markets:
Spring Fling | Sunday, May 15, 11am-6pm | River Valley Arts Center | Wappingers Falls, NY
Memorial Day Weekend Arts Fair | Sunday, May 29, 11am-6pm | Kingston, NY
I’ll be debuting my block printed pet/human bandanas, totes, and stationery along with embroidered jewelry, bookmarks, and hoops.

Please. Pray. For. Good. Weather.
Last year, every time Mother Nature heard I was doing a market, she sent hurricane level winds and sideways driving rain. Like, every time! No exaggeration! But this year I’m fighting back with eco-plastic (compostable!) packaging that (hopefully?) will provide some protection for my inventory when it goes flying off my table into mud puddles.
I will report back.
Anyway, I hope everyone’s month is off to a lovely start and that I will see some of you at my table under my dripping tent!
Peace and Love,
xW
Oh yay, market days! Here’s wishing you good weather and hordes of eager buyers… Your stall setup is lovely too, I wish I lived closer 😭 Good luck with it all!
